Nigerian youngster Rafiu Durosinmi scored a crucial goal for Viktoria Plzen on Thursday night, ensuring that the team earned a point from their encounter against Ferencvaros in the Europa League.

The attacker started the highly-contested clash between the Czech club and the side from Hungary, playing a key role for the visitors in a match that ended 1-1 at full-time.

The 22-year-old gave Plzen the perfect start in the 16th minute, breaking through the defence before firing a powerful strike from the edge of the box into the left corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

Despite Plzen’s strong display, the hosts struck back deep into stoppage time. Gabi Kanichowsky delivered a dangerous cross that evaded the goalkeeper, allowing Aleksandar Pesic to nod home from close range and salvage a point for Ferencvaros.

The result leaves both sides sharing the spoils after a tightly-contested clash.
