Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu to compete in 2025 Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup
South African Premiership clubs, Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu, will be competing in the 2025 Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup.
The four-team tournament launched on Wednesday, September 17, will be played in Ulundi in October during the international break.
Traditionally, the competition has featured clubs from KwaZulu-Natal, making Chiefs’ debut a historic addition.
The format will see two semi-finals and a final played on the same day. AmaZulu will open the tournament at 09:00 against defending champions Njampela FC, an ABC Motsepe League side from KZN.
Chiefs will then face Eswatini outfit Nsingizini Hotspurs in the second semi-final at 12:00. The winners will advance to the final, scheduled for 16:00.
