Premier League giants Liverpool are planning for life without Egyptian star Mohammed Salah despite having a running contract at the club.

Salah, who recently renewed his contract with the Reds has been an integral member of the team since his arrival in 2017.

According to reports, Liverpool is deeply concerned that the age and contract duration of their 33-year-old talisman Mohamed Salah could significantly weaken the team’s attacking prowess in the future.

However, the Premier League giants have begun search for Salah’s potential successor, turning their attention to 23-year-old French midfielder Michael Olise, currently with Bayern Munich.

Currently, no formal offer has been made yet, but Olise is considered the top candidate to strengthen Liverpool’s squad for next season.

Olise joined Bayern last summer from Crystal Palace for €53 million and has since established himself as a key member of the team.

For Mohammed Salah, his contract with Liverpool is expected to run out in summer 2027, having recently penned a two-year contract extension.
