English outfit AFC Bournemouth have stepped up their efforts to sign Moroccan attacker Amine Adli.
The 25-year-old attacker informed Bayer Leverkusen at the end of July of his desire to move, openly expressing his ambition to test himself in the Premier League.
While Wolverhampton Wanderers are among the clubs to have shown interest, Bournemouth appear to be leading the chase.
According to Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg, negotiations between Bournemouth and Leverkusen are now underway.
Adli has reportedly already agreed personal terms with the Cherries and is ready to make the switch to England.
Bournemouth, however, will need to meet Leverkusen’s €30 million asking price to secure his signature, a notable jump from his current €18 million market valuation.
If the deal goes through, Adli would become one of Bournemouth’s marquee signings of the window as they look to add attacking firepower for the new Premier League season.
