Ivory Coast striker Michael Jaubert joins AS Sale on free transfer

Ivory Coast striker Michael Jaubert has joined Moroccan club AS Sale on a free transfer, moving from CM El Marsa after completing the switch on 25 August 2026.

The 28-year-old forward becomes part of AS Sale’s attacking group after spending the previous three seasons with CM El Marsa. Jaubert had joined the Moroccan club from Fath Nador on 1 July 2023, also on a free transfer.

Jaubert has one recorded appearance in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine, scoring once in 90 minutes. He operates as a striker and has represented clubs in Morocco throughout his senior career.

Before his spell at Fath Nador, Jaubert spent the 2022-23 season with Youssoufia, arriving from AMS Assa on another free transfer. That move followed his time with AMS Assa, which began in the 2020-21 season.

His career path has therefore included four Moroccan clubs: AMS Assa, Youssoufia, Fath Nador and CM El Marsa, before his latest move to AS Sale. The transfer continues Jaubert’s run of changing clubs without a fee being paid between the sides involved.

AS Sale completed Jaubert’s free transfer from CM El Marsa on 25 August 2026.
