Franco-Senegalese attacker Randal Kolo Muani emerges as top transfer target for Newcastle United
France international of DR Congo descent Randal Kolo Muani has emerged as a top transfer target for Premier League outfit Newcastle United.
Having missed out on Benjamin Sesko to Manchester United, the Magpies are expected to go all to secure the signature of Kolo Muani, who is in the books of Paris Saint Germain.
The forward, who is facing an uncertain future at Paris Saint Germain is now a priority target for Newcastle United.
Kolo Muani is not in the plans of coach Luis Enrique at PSG and is expected to join a new club before the start of the 2025/26 football campaign.
He spent half of the 2024/25 football campaign on loan at Juventus and racked up nine goals. Talks between Juventus and PSG has stalled over a potential loan deal with an option to buy.
Besides Kolo Muani, Newcastle have also penned down Gonçalo Ramos, Nicolas Jackson and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins.
Newcastle are not the only team looking at Kolo Muani. There have been previous reports that Tottenham Hotspur have also identified the Frenchman as a player who could bolster their attacking line. The London side have been a long-term admirer of the striker.
