Senegalese midfielder Lamine Camara returns to RS Berkane after Stoke City move collapses

Senegalese midfielder Lamine Camara has resumed training with RS Berkane following the collapse of his anticipated transfer to English side Stoke City.

The 20-year-old is back with the Moroccan outfit and has joined the rest of the squad for their ongoing pre-season preparations.

Berkane head coach Moine Chaabani, alongside the club’s management, is expected to hold decisive talks with Camara in the coming days to clarify his future at the club.

Chaabani is reportedly keen to keep the player, especially with the team preparing for the CAF Champions League.

The departure of long-serving defender Youssoufa Dayo and a serious ligament injury to creative midfielder Yassine Bhiri have left critical gaps in the squad, increasing the need for Camara’s presence and experience.
