Al Masry are stepping up preparations for the new campaign with the arrival of Rwandan midfielder Bunor Mugichia from Tunisian side Stade Tunisien.

The 25-year-old becomes the club’s third new face this summer as the Port Said-based outfit reshapes its squad under coach Nabil Kouki.

Mugisha signed a contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2028. His arrival comes after recommendations from Kouki, who is keen to build a team capable of challenging strongly this season.

The experienced midfielder has featured for Mostaqbal Marsa in Tunisia, Al-Ahly Benghazi in Libya, and Rwanda’s Army. He also has seven caps for the Rwandan national team.

Before Mugisha, Al Masry had already secured the signatures of Algerian striker Mondher Tamine from CS Constantine and Omar Al-Saai, a midfielder from Al Ahly.

In preparation for the new season, the club also parted ways with several players, including Nigerian John Ebuka and Tunisian Fakhreddine Ben Youssef, as part of a broader squad overhaul led by the technical team.
