Dortmund agree terms with Carney Chukwuemeka for midfielder’s permanent signing from Chelsea
German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement with Carney Chukwuemeka over a permanent signing this summer.
According to sources, the club is advancing in talks with Chelsea to complete the signing of the England midfielder of Nigerian descent.
Following the 21-year-old’s impressive loan spell during the second half of last season, Dortmund have reignited talks with Chelsea to secure his services on a full-time basis.
Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Monday evening that the Bundesliga club and Chukwuemeka have already finalised personal terms, with negotiations between the two clubs now in the advanced stages.
The Black and Yellows are pushing to finalise the deal as soon as possible, with the transfer expected to be completed in the coming days.
Chukwuemeka featured in 17 competitive matches for Dortmund during his loan spell, scoring one goal and showcasing his potential as a dynamic midfield asset.
Chukwuemeka is excited about the possible return to Germany and wants to complete the Dortmund move as soon as possible.
