Cameroonian winger Georges-Kévin N'Koudou draws Gulf interest amid Damac FC exit talks

Georges-Kévin N’Koudou is expected to leave Damac FC this summer as financial challenges force the Saudi Arabian side to consider offers for the Cameroonian winger.

The 30-year-old, who is under contract until June 2026, is attracting widespread interest from across the Gulf region.

According to reports from Al Riyadiya, several clubs have entered the race to sign the former Tottenham Hotspur and Beşiktaş forward.

Among the suitors are Saudi sides Al Ula and Al Diriyah, while Al Shabab, Neom SC, and Qatari outfit Al Duhail have reportedly contacted Damac to explore terms of a potential transfer.

Despite his importance to the team, Damac FC finds itself in a precarious financial position and is now open to selling one of its most valuable assets.

The club has placed a $4 million (€3.42 million) price tag on N’Koudou, in an attempt to spark competitive bidding between interested parties.

Since arriving from Turkish giants Beşiktaş in 2023, N’Koudou has made a strong impact at Damac, quickly becoming one of the standout performers for the Southern Knights.

His performances have not gone unnoticed, and his current market valuation, according to Transfermarkt, stands at €5 million. That figure reflects both his form in Saudi Arabia and the potential he still holds, even as he enters the latter stages of his career.

The situation surrounding N’Koudou’s future is developing quickly, with Damac hoping to turn their financial hardship into a profitable transfer deal.

While they would have preferred to retain the services of the Cameroonian international, the club’s fiscal difficulties have left them with little choice but to entertain offers.

Damac’s stance remains firm—they are unwilling to allow N’Koudou to leave without a suitable financial return. The club is reportedly optimistic that the level of interest in the player will allow them to drive up the final transfer fee.

At 30, N’Koudou still has the experience and ability to offer significant value to clubs across the region. Known for his pace and direct attacking play, he would be a major addition for any side looking to bolster their wide options.

His availability has sparked considerable discussion in Gulf football circles, where clubs are eager to strengthen ahead of the new season.

Though no formal bids have yet been announced, negotiations are expected to intensify in the coming days. The presence of multiple interested parties is likely to accelerate Damac’s timeline for finalising a deal, particularly as the transfer window progresses.

With his departure from Damac now appearing almost inevitable, the focus shifts to which club will succeed in securing his signature. Whether he continues in Saudi Arabia or opts for a move to neighbouring Qatar, Georges-Kévin N’Koudou’s next destination is poised to be one of the headline moves in the region this summer.
