Vinicius Junior’s dream run at Real Madrid has hit a turning point.
While he’s dazzled fans and led the line with heart and fire, the club has reportedly drawn a hard line: they won’t pay him the same as new arrival Kylian Mbappe.
According to journalist Anton Meana that Real Madrid are sticking to their wage structure, even as the Brazilian star seeks a raise to match Mbappe’s massive €31.25 million base salary.
Vinicius, under contract until June 2027, currently earns about €15 million net per season. His representatives have pushed for equal treatment, pointing to his influence and long-standing loyalty to the club. But Real Madrid see things differently.
“Real Madrid have made it clear they won’t offer Vinicius the same as Mbappe, prioritising financial balance over individual demands. If he insists on that salary, Real Madrid will sell him,” Meana said.
With tensions rising, the ball is now in Vinicius’s court, accept the offer, or look elsewhere.
