Yannick Ferreira steers Zamalek through change with hope and hunger for titles
Yannick Ferreira believes Zamalek is building something strong.
The Belgian coach sees promise in the team’s efforts as they prepare for the new season during a training camp in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital.
“Zamalek is currently doing well, the team is on the right track, and things are improving day by day,” Ferreira said in televised statements. “So I thank everyone, and there is a clear improvement in performance.”
“There has been noticeable progress in friendly matches, and this is an indication that we are moving in the right direction. Everyone knows that we have a clear goal, which is to win all the titles, and this comes through teamwork.
“Currently, Zamalek is experiencing a period of major change on all levels. I know the team is in a transitional phase, both on and off the pitch, but what makes me most happy is that the club is moving in the same direction and with the same ambition.
He concluded: “We will fight to achieve our goal and we will do our best.”
