English Premier League club Nottingham Forest are interested in signing Swiss forward of Senegalese descent, Dan Ndoye.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Forest have tabled their first formal offer to Serie A side Bologna for the 24-year-old winger, who is viewed as a key replacement for Elanga.
The Swedish international recently completed a high-profile move to Newcastle United for £55 million.
Ndoye, who had an impressive campaign last season with nine goals and six assists, is believed to have already agreed to personal terms with Forest on a five-year deal running until 2030.
However, Bologna are holding firm on their valuation, reportedly demanding between €40 million and €50 million for the versatile attacker. The Italian club has rejected Forest’s initial bid, citing it as insufficient.
Napoli are also monitoring the situation, setting up a potential transfer battle as talks between the interested clubs continue.
Forest remain keen on securing Ndoye’s services and are expected to return with an improved offer as they aim to finalise the deal before the end of the transfer window.
