Pyramids FC await fitness verdict on Ibrahim Adel ahead of CAF Champions League semi-final return

Pyramids FC will travel to Turkey for their pre-season camp without star forward Ibrahim Adel, who is on the verge of completing a transfer to Al Jazira in the UAE.

The club’s head coach, Croatian Krunoslav Jurcic, revealed the squad list set to make the trip, but Adel’s name was noticeably missing. According to sources close to the club, the talented attacker has agreed personal terms with Al Jazira, and an official announcement is expected within hours.

The Pyramids delegation is set to fly on a private jet arranged by the club, with stops in Istanbul and then Izmit, where the training camp will run until the 29th of this month. The team is also expected to play three friendly matches during the camp.

Meanwhile, five players have rejoined the squad after loan spells, including Fakhri Lakay and Mohamed Reda Bobo.

Jurcic’s traveling squad features familiar faces like Ramadan Sobhi, Ahmed El-Shenawy, and Mostafa Fathy, as they gear up for the new campaign without one of their brightest talents.
