Orlando Pirates announce signing of South African winger Kamogelo Sebelebele

South African giants Orlando Pirates have completed the acquisition of South African winger Kamogelo Sebelebele in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old winger joins the Buccaneers from fellow South African outfit, TS Galaxy and is expected to play a huge role for the club. Sebelebele featured 29 times for the Rockets last season, scoring five goals.

He becomes the 10th signing for Orlando Pirates after Sipho Mbule, Yanela Mbuthuma, Tshepang Moremi, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Sinoxolo Kwayiba, Tshepo Mashiloane, Sihle Nduli, Masindi Nemtajela, and Oswin Appollis.

The Soweto giants are bolstering their squad for the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign, following a trophyless run last term.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Kamogelo Sebelebele.

The 22-year-old winger joins the Buccaneers on the back of an impressive breakout campaign with TS Galaxy, where he featured in 29 matches and found the back of the net five times – a return that highlighted his attacking prowess and consistency throughout the season,” wrote the club.

Having completed the move, Sebelebele is expected to join his teammates in Spain for preseason training. The Soweto Giants are currently in Marbella, where they have two remaining fixtures against Spanish outfits Las Palmas and Granada before returning home on July 20.
