Olympique Lyon have slapped an €60m price tag on Belgium international of Guinea descent Malick Fofana amid growing interest in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old youngster, who plies his trade in France has attracted significant interest in Europe, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea believed to be interested in the attacker.
Meanwhile, the forward is also said to be on the radar of Fulham, Nottingham Forest, RB Leipzig, Napoli and Bayern Munich.
According to reports Lyon could drive up a bidding war to maximize their profit amid the financial difficulties in the wake of the clubs demotion to the Ligue 2 relegation.
Fofana joined Lyon from Gant in a €17m move eighteen months ago and his value has skyrocketed since following a swift impact at the club.
The in-demand winger racked up 15 goals and provided 7 assists in 62 games played for Les Gones. Fofana could sign for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team as he aimed to join a club that will compete in the Champions League.
The winger’s current contract with the Ligue 2 outfit runs until summer 2026.
