South African giants Orlando Pirates have announced the acquisition of attacker Oswin Appollis from Polokwane City in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old joins the Soweto giants on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee, ending his spell with Polokwane City.
Appollis becomes the eight signing of Orlando Pirates after Yanela Mbuthuma, Masindi Nemtajela, Tshepang Moremi, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Sinoxolo Kwayiba, Tshepo Mashiloane, and Sihle Nduli.
With his wealth of experience, the winger is expected to play a huge role for Orlando Pirates in the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign.
He made 28 appearances for Polokwane City in the just ended season, but was not prolific enough scoring just two goals and providing one assist.
Appollis has represented Polokwane City since 2023, playing 59 matches and registering nine goals and six assists. He is also a current player of Bafana Bafana, with 11 appearances and a bronze medal from the 2024 AFCON.
