South African outfit Stellenbosch FC part ways with Kenya defender Brian Onyango

Stellenbosch FC have officially parted ways with Kenya international Brian Onyango following the expiration of his contract.

The 30-year-old leaves the club after just one-year spell with the South African club, with both parties agreeing to go separate ways.

He made eight appearances across all competitions and played a role in helping the team qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup.

“Everyone at Stellenbosch FC would like to thank Brian for his service to the club and wish him all the best in the next chapter of his career,” the club said in a statement.

Having departed the club, the experienced Kenya defender is expected to find himself a new club before the commencement of the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign.

Brian Onyango has made 35 appearances for the Harambee Stars since making his debut in 2011, scoring three goals across the period.
