Saudi Arabian giants Al-Nassr are reportedly targeting Nigerian forward Victor Boniface as a key summer signing, with the Bayer Leverkusen striker emerging as a strong candidate to reinforce their frontline.
This move comes as Colombian striker John Duran edges closer to a transfer to Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahçe.
Al-Nassr has reportedly granted Duran permission to leave, opening the door for fresh reinforcements in attack.
Boniface, who enjoyed a standout campaign with Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen, was previously on Al-Nassr’s radar during the winter transfer window.
However, the club opted to sign Duran from Aston Villa at the time.
Now, with Duran on his way out and the club undergoing a major restructuring project following the departure of Italian coach Stefano Pioli, Al-Nassr is set to make a marquee offensive addition.
Boniface is seen as a top target to lead this new phase, especially as the club prepares to announce a new technical team ahead of the upcoming season.
