English side Liverpool are still interested in signing French forward of Cameroonian descent, Hugo Ekitike.
According to Sky, the Premier League side considers itself well-positioned to land the 22-year-old striker.
Chelsea and Manchester United are also pursuing Ekitike. United have reportedly made contact with Eintracht Frankfurt, but all interested clubs have been met with the same message: the Bundesliga side is holding firm on their €100 million valuation.
Ekitike, who joined Frankfurt from PSG, is aware of the interest and is said to be taking a patient approach.
His standout performances in the second half of the season, marked by explosive pace, sharp technique, and a keen eye for goal, have drawn the attention of Europe’s top clubs.
In the 2024/25 football season, Hugo Ekitike scored 15 goals and provided eight assists after making 33 appearances in the German Bundesliga season.
While Frankfurt are reluctant to sell, they are reportedly open to negotiations if a suitable offer arrives.
