Al Ahly have firmed up their plans for the Club World Cup opener against Inter Miami with confirmation that new forward Wissam Abu Ali will join the squad in the U.S. on Wednesday evening.
The club’s camp in Miami is already taking shape, with other key arrivals settling in ahead of the highly anticipated clash.
A source close to the team revealed to Kooora that Abu Ali will feature for Palestine against Oman on Tuesday before traveling through Dubai to join his teammates in Florida.
“Wissam Abu Ali will play his national team’s match with Oman next Tuesday, after which he will leave for Dubai, and then directly to Miami.”
The source added: “From the beginning, things were clear, and the Palestinian national team has ambitions to reach the Asian playoffs, qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, and Al Ahly undoubtedly supports the brothers in that mission.”
Meanwhile, new signing Ahmed Mostafa Zizo has already touched down in Miami. Malian midfielder Alieu Dieng also joined the camp earlier in the day after returning from national team duties in France.
