South African midfielder Lindokuhle Mtshali is on the verge of joining Richards Bay ahead of the summer transfer window.

Richards Bay are seeking to augment their squad for the new campaign following an inconsistent performance in the recently concluded campaign.

According to reports, Richards Bay have come close to securing the services of the enterprising midfielder despite enduring a difficult spell with Sekhukhune United in the recently concluded campaign.

Mtshali is looking to revive his career after a difficult season with Sekhukhune United. The midfielder made just two appearances following his move from the defunct Swallows and faced disciplinary issues in April after an unauthorized absence.

Despite being reinstated in the team, he failed to make another matchday squad before the season ended.

The midfielder has had stints with several clubs in South Africa including Orlando Pirates, Golden Arrows, Moroka Swallows and others.
