Burkinabe striker Stephane Aziz Ki has landed in Casablanca to complete his transfer to Wydad Casablanca.
The talented forward is set to move from Tanzanian club Young Boys to the Moroccan giants.
According to sources close to the deal, “This time, everything went smoothly—unlike previous attempts. Agreements have been reached between Wydad, Young Boys, the player, and his agent.”
Aziz Ki is expected to undergo a medical examination in Morocco, and once cleared, he will sign a two-year contract with Wydad.
Reports suggest the club is keen to fast-track the signing in line with coach Amine Benhachem’s wishes, hoping to have Aziz Ki available for Wydad’s upcoming friendly match against Sevilla next week.
While financial details remain undisclosed, it is believed Wydad will pay around $360,000 to secure the deal.
This move is part of Wydad Casablanca’s efforts to bolster their squad ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled to take place in the United States.
