French outfit Nantes to hand Egypt star Mostafa Mohamed hefty fine

Egyptian international Mostafa Mohamed will be handed a hefty fine by French Ligue 1 outfit FC Nantes for non-involvement in the fight against homophobia.

The 27-year-old is expected to miss his outfit final game of the season against Montpellier, having refused to engage himself in the fight against homophobia throughout the campaign.

According to reports in France, the Egyptian attacker will be handed a heavy fine by Nantes. The fine will then be given to an association.

The forward has scored six goals and provided an assists in 32 appearances across competitions for Nantes this season.

Since marking his debut in 2019, Mustapha Mohammed has racked up 47 appearances for the Egyptian national team, scoring 13 goals across the period.
