Spanish giants FC Barcelona are still keeping tabs on Nigerian international Ademola Lookman.
As reported by Africasoccer last month, Barcelona are interested in signing the Super Eagles sensation in the summer transfer window in a big move to strengthen the attack of the team.
It is understood that Barcelona wants to focus on making the deal happen after abandoning interest in Athletic Club’s youngster, Nico Williams.
Ademola Lookman is reportedly a huge fan of FC Barcelona and will welcome a move to the Spanish club.
Checks have revealed that for Barcelona to succeed with the signing of the Nigerian superstar will depend heavily on their financial capabilities and whether they can return to the 1:1 financial fair play rule in La Liga.
Currently, it is understood that the chances of Barcelona signing Lookman are no more than 30%.
The Spanish outfit are still weighing their options as they also want to sign a defender as well. A final decision on Lookman’s transfer will be made at the end of the season.
