Tanzania’s U15 Boys team have been crowned champions of the Boys tournament at the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship.
The Tanzanians defeated Senegal 3-2 on penalties on Saturday, April 26, to clinch the trophy after a close contest in the final.
The victory means Tanzania have successfully defended their title and continues to reign at the U15 level.

Meanwhile, Ghana’s U15 Girls team also made history on Saturday, defeating Uganda 2-0 to win the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship.
This is the first time Ghana’s U15 Girls have won the tournament since it started three editions ago.
The four-day tournament is an initiative of CAF under President Dr. Patrice Motsepe to provide a platform for the next generation of African stars to display their talent.
This year’s edition was hosted at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra, Ghana.
