Mamelodi Sundowns head coach, Miguel Cardoso, has expressed confidence is his side’s ability to upset Al Ahly on Friday.
The South African giants will be hosted at the Cairo International Stadium in the second leg of the semifinals in the CAF Champions League.
The first leg staged at the Loftus Versfeld ended goalless last weekend.
“I still believe we can beat Al Ahly because we didn’t lose to them in this match,” Cardoso told journalists in Tshwane, when asked about the return leg.
“There is a lot to be played for still, and we can do that out of belief and capacity for what we can put on the pitch.
“We are going there expecting a different match. Whoever goes through, the other team will not be happy, but whoever goes through will be strong because these are the two best teams in Africa.
“One will suffer in the end, but I hope we can be strong enough to cope,” he continued.
The high-stakes match is at the Cairo International Stadium, where the Egyptian giants have requested a full capacity of 75,000 spectators.
The kick-off for the game is scheduled to kick off at 16:00 GMT.
