Galatasaray will always be in my heart – Nigeria star Victor Osimhen

Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has expressed gratitude to Turkish giants Galatasaray following an explosive loan spell.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray last summer on a season-long loan from Napoli after a failed move to Chelsea and Al Hilal.

Since joining the club, the Nigeria international has established himself as cog to the team, scoring 21 goals and delivering 4 assists from 24 matches in the top-flight.

With a permanent move to Galatasaray looking impossible, it appears Osimhen has said his final goodbye to the club.

“Galatasaray will always be in my heart. There are always rumors about me, but I focus on the present. I am enjoying this moment, the fans always support me. At the right time, the best decision will be made for everyone,” Osimhen said in an interview with NTV.

As he is set for a permanent departure from Napoli, a chunk of clubs across Europe has expressed interest in the highly-rated forward.

Meanwhile, Napoli has reportedly slapped a €70 million transfer fee on Osimhen as the club seek to cash in on the Nigeria attacker this summer.
