Rising Moroccan star Mehdi Harfi is on the verge of joining German Bundesliga side St. Pauli.

According to Africafoot, the German club has already reached a pre-contract agreement with the 20-year-old, with the deal expected to be finalized before the season concludes.

Harfi is currently under contract with Toulouse until June 2025, but an extension seems unlikely.

Instead, he is set to sign a four-year deal with St. Pauli, who have beaten competition from several top European clubs.

Although he has only scored three goals this season, Harfi’s talent has drawn significant attention.

His technical ability and potential have made him a sought-after prospect.

Born in Mérignac, France, Harfi began his career at FCE Mérignac-Arlac before moving to the FC Girondins de Bordeaux academy.

He made an immediate impact there, scoring 15 goals for the U19 team over two seasons.

Despite earning a professional contract at Bordeaux, limited first-team opportunities led him to join Toulouse FC in April 2023.

Since then, he has featured for the club’s reserve team in the National 3 league, netting three goals in 15 appearances.

With his move to Germany now imminent, Harfi will be looking to make his mark in the Bundesliga with St. Pauli.
