USM Alger attacker Bonfils Caleb Bimenyimana has been included in the Burundi national team squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying games.
The 27-year-old joins his national team for the two crucial World Cup qualifying games against Ivory Coast and Seychelles.
Burundi will lock horns with the reigning AFCON holders on March 21 before taking on Seychelles on March 25, 2025.
Prior to the qualifiers, the Algerian club has confirmed the inclusion of their forward in the Burundi national team.
“Our forward Bonfils Caleb Bimenyimana has been called up to reinforce the Burundi national team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers” wrote the club.
The 27-year-old striker joined USM Alger during the winter transfer window from Iranian club Zob Ahan Esfahan.
Despite his short time with the club, he’s already made impact, scoring goal in his debut match for the Algerian side.
