Spanish giants FC Barcelona are reportedly no longer keen on signing Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey.
The La Liga leaders have been linked with a possible move to sign the Black Stars midfield enforcer since last summer.
Ahead of the summer transfer window, information gathered indicates that FC Barcelona no longer feels the need to recruit the experienced midfielder.
This is because of the availability and form of Casado, Pedri, Olmo, Gavi, and Fermín.
The club is said to be prioritising a left-winger who can also play as a striker and not a midfielder.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s Thomas Partey is among 12 players reportedly set to depart Arsenal at the end of the 2024/25 football season.
His contract expires in June, and Arsenal are not looking at offering him any extension.
Thomas Partey, 31, is believed to be a target of several clubs in Europe with a return to Spain among the many possibilities.
The Ghana midfielder is also a person of interest from some clubs in Saudi Arabia and could be playing for one of the teams in the Pro League next season.
The future of the midfielder will become clear in the coming months before the end of the season.
