‘I’m very happy at Dortmund’ – Karim Adeyemi insists amid speculation on summer departure

German forward of Nigerian descent, Karim Adeyemi, has stressed that he is happy at Borussia Dortmund amid links with a move to another club.

Several reports in the past week have indicated that the highly rated youngster could leave the German Bundesliga side at the end of the 2024/25 football season.

On Saturday, Adeyemi was in action for Dortmund and scored to lead the team to a 2-0 win at the end of the match.

Speaking in a post-match interview, the forward shared his delight, insisting that he wants to score and assist more goals for the team.

“I’m happy that I scored a goal and even happier that we won. I’ve gained more confidence in the last few games. But there’s definitely still room for improvement. That’s what I’m building on. I want to score a lot of goals and provide a lot of assists for Dortmund,” Karim Adeyemi said.

He continued, “I am very happy at Borussia Dortmund and you never know what the future holds.”

Adeyemi is reportedly a transfer target of Arsenal and SSC Napoli and may secure a move to one of the clubs in the summer transfer window.
