French international of DR Congo descent Tanguy Ndombele will not require surgery amid hernia issues, which limited his minutes this season.
The former Olympique Lyonnais midfielder met a surgeon weeks ago and it was decided surgery will not be required.
The 28-year-old was playing through pain amid pubalgia issue in January.
Ndombele has been limited to 18 appearances at OGC Nice in the French Ligue 1 this season, scoring just a goal and providing two assists.
His move to Nice has been a partial success due to injury setbacks, which have held him back and limited his minutes at the club.
In all competitions, he has managed 25 appearances, scoring two goals and providing two assists across the period.
Ndombele joined OGC Nice last summer, signing a two-year deal with the Frecnh Ligue 1 outfit.
