France talent with African roots, Warren Zaire-Emery returned from injury on Wednesday night, featuring in PSG’s big win against lower-division outfit Stade Briochin.
The forward, who came through the French giants’ academy, had been out of action since January when he suffered a sprained ankle during his team’s 4-1 win against German outfit VfB Stuttgart.
After weeks on the sidelines, Warren Zaire-Emery joined his PSG teammates to train earlier this week.
He passed match fitness on Wednesday and came off the bench to help his team see off Stade Briochin in the French Cup clash.
On the matchday, PSG showed no mercy to the opponent, running riot with a massive 7-0 win to advance to the next stage of the competition.
With Warren Zaire-Emery fully fit, he is expected to make the PSG squad for their upcoming match in the French Ligue 1.
His return also provides a major boost for PSG as the team prepares for the Uefa Champions League encounter against Liverpool next month.
