French talent with African roots, Warren Zaïre-Emery has returned to training at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after spending some time on the sidelines due to an injury.
The talented forward has been out of action since suffering an ankle sprain during PSG’s Champions League win over VfB Stuttgart in January.
In his absence, PSG has continued to compete and excelled not only in the Uefa Champions League but in the French Ligue 1 as well.
Now, with season-defining fixtures on the horizon, Zaïre-Emery is edging closer to full fitness. After spending time training individually, he officially rejoined first-team sessions on Tuesday, signalling his readiness to contribute once again.
There’s growing optimism that the PSG academy graduate could make the squad for Wednesday’s Coupe de France quarter-final clash against Stade Briochin.
Checks have revealed that Warren Zaïre-Emery is feeling well and is eager to pass match fitness to be added to PSG’s matchday squad for upcoming games.
