Al Ahly head coach Marcel Koller has urged his players to remain fully focused ahead of their highly anticipated showdown against Zamalek at Cairo International Stadium in the 15th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
Addressing his squad during Friday’s training session, Koler cautioned against underestimating their rivals, despite discussions surrounding Zamalek’s absences and squad depth.
“The summit matches will remain of a special nature, whatever the size of the absences or the arrangement of the centers for the opponent,” Koler stated.
He further emphasized the strength of their opponents, highlighting the presence of experienced Portuguese coach José Peseiro and Zamalek’s determination to compete for the league title.
“Zamalek is a great team, led by a well-known technical staff led by the Portuguese Jose Pisero, and it has great hope in the competition for the league championship, and therefore the focus and caution is required of the opponents’ ambitions,” he added.
