Casemiro believes Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr are on track to define the next football era, stepping into the void left by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Brazilian midfielder, who was instrumental in Real Madrid’s Champions League dominance, sees both players as generational talents ready to take center stage.
“He (Mbappe) is one of those players that when you play against them you don’t know how to stop him,” Casemiro said.
“He’s not (on top of) the podium yet, but he’ll get there,” he added, backing the French forward to reach football’s pinnacle.
Alongside Mbappe, Casemiro highlighted Vinicius Jr’s rapid development, listing him as a key successor to Messi and Ronaldo, along with Rodrygo and Fede Valverde.
“He’s the heir to (Messi and Ronaldo), along with Vinicius Jr, who continues to grow and improve in every game, Rodrygo, and Fede Valverde.”
Mbappe and Vinicius Jr have already shown their chemistry at Real Madrid, delivering game-changing performances. Mbappe’s latest display, a Champions League hat trick against Manchester City, further solidified his claim as football’s next big star.
