Olympique de Marseille are closely tracking the development of Malian attacking midfielder Kenan Armel Kader, with the French club reportedly considering offering him a trial before the end of the season.
The 19-year-old, who plays for Djoliba Athletic Club, has impressed in Mali’s Ligue 1 Orange, helping his side secure the top spot after 12 matches.
His performances have drawn attention from multiple clubs abroad, particularly due to his standout displays in international competitions.
According to Africafoot, Marseille are interested in assessing Kader’s potential and could invite him for a one-month trial as they evaluate a possible move.
The young midfielder has gained recognition for his technical ability, creative playmaking, and precise passing, earning a reputation as one of the most promising attacking talents in the Malian top flight.
However, the French club faces competition for his signature. Egyptian side Pyramids FC, currently second in their domestic league, are reportedly preparing a €500,000 offer for the player ahead of the summer transfer window.
Interest in Kader is not limited to Marseille and Pyramids FC. European clubs, including Austrian teams Sturm Graz and Red Bull Salzburg, as well as Tanzanian giants Young Africans, are also said to be keeping an eye on his progress.
With growing interest from multiple clubs, Kader’s next move could see him make the jump to European football or continue his development elsewhere, as the summer transfer window approaches.
