English giants, Manchester United will consider triggering the €75 million release in Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen’s contract with SSC Napoli.

The highly-rated striker is currently on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray. He has not been as prolific as he was in the past two seasons but remains one of the top forwards in the division.

According to information gathered from sources, Victory Osimhen remains a key transfer target for a host of clubs in Europe.

It is understood that English Premier League heavyweights Manchester United and Chelsea are keen on securing the services of the Super Eagles forward.

For Manchester United, it is understood that the club wants to trigger the release clause of the forward in the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils want to strengthen their squad for next season and believe the addition of Osimhen will make them title contenders.

The club must hope to beat competition from not just Chelsea but other European giants interested in Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian striker has 17 goals and five assists after making 23 appearances for Galatasaray this season.
