Aston Villa make approach for AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori

Aston Villa have shown interest in AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori and have already made contact over a possible move, according to Ekrem Konur.

The Premier League club are closely monitoring the 28-year-old England international, who could consider returning to England during the next winter transfer window.

AC Milan would reportedly be willing to listen to offers for Tomori. The defender is no longer viewed as an indispensable part of the Rossoneri’s long-term plans, meaning a satisfactory proposal in January could lead the Italian club to seriously consider his departure.

Tomori is also understood to be open to a return to the English league. He came through the academy at Chelsea before establishing himself in Italy, and a move back to England could offer him a fresh opportunity in a familiar footballing environment.

Aston Villa are therefore a club to watch as the situation develops. Tomori remains under contract at AC Milan until June 2027 and is valued at 10m euros by Transfermarkt.

His contract could be an important factor in negotiations as the winter window approaches, with AC Milan expected to assess any offers that arrive. The club are due to play Udinese in the eighth round of the Italian league.
