Lamine Camara ruled out of Monaco’s clash with PSG
AS Monaco will be without Senegalese midfielder Lamine Camara for their Ligue 1 encounter against Paris Saint-Germain on Friday.
The 20-year-old has been left out of Adi Hütter’s squad due to a knee injury sustained in Monaco’s 4-2 victory over Auxerre.
Camara, who was named Monaco’s Player of the Month for January, suffered a blow to his right knee in the match and was forced off at halftime.
As a result, he has not been deemed fit to feature in the crucial clash at the Parc des Princes.
His absence is a significant setback for Monaco, as the midfielder has been in outstanding form this season.
A key figure in the squad, Camara has played a pivotal role in the team’s recent success, helping them secure back-to-back wins against Rennes and Auxerre.
Despite this blow, fellow Senegalese international Krépin Diatta has been included in the squad and will be available for selection.
Monaco, currently in strong form, will look to maintain their momentum against league leaders PSG in what promises to be a challenging fixture.v
