Bruno Onyemaechi on his move to Olympiacos: Ready for the challenge
Bruno Onyemaechi has expressed his excitement after completing a €2.5 million transfer from Boavista to Olympiacos.
The 25-year-old Nigerian international left-back has signed a four-year deal, becoming the Greek club’s third summer signing.
Onyemaechi, who is known for his pace and versatility, shared his eagerness to get started with his new team. Reflecting on what attracted him to the move, he emphasized his ambitions to make an impact in Europe.
“First of all, I’m really happy to be here. When I first told my family about it, they all accepted it. Now I’m looking forward to it and hope to see the supporters in the stadium,” he said in a video released by the club.
“I looked at the possibilities of playing in Europe; this is what drove me more to be here, and I’m really happy to be here. I’m a fast player. When the team has the ball, I am ready to help the team in attack and defence.”
Onyemaechi is looking forward to the atmosphere at Olympiacos, describing it as a dream for any player.
