Manchester United are close to signing Danish international of Nigerian descent Patrick Dorgu from Lecce in the ongoing January transfer window.
Manager Ruben Amorim is concerned about the club’s recent poor performance and is currently pushing for squad reinforcements.
The three-time Champions League winners are in search for a solid and quality attacker and has therefore identified Lecce’s enterprising winger as the perfect fit.
Manchester United have submitted a €30 million offer to Lecce in an attempt to secure the services of the highly-rated winger. The Red Devils are confident of completing the deal within the next two days.
The 20-year-old talent will fly to Manchester for a medical and to sign a contract lasting until the summer of 2030.
Dorgu has been outstanding for Lecce this season, scoring three goals and providing an assist from 21 games in the Serie A.
The talented defender has also scored once in 4 appearances for Denmark’s national team.
