Nottingham Forest have set their sights on Anderlecht’s promising defender Moussa N’Diaye for the upcoming January transfer window.
The English Premier League club is preparing an offer for the Senegalese star, but Anderlecht are expected to drive a hard bargain. Despite N’Diaye’s market value being around €2 million, the Belgian side is reportedly demanding upwards of €10 million for the 21-year-old.
N’Diaye, who joined Anderlecht from Barcelona B in 2022, has established himself as a key figure in their defense this season, especially after stepping in for the injury-prone Ludwig Augustinsson. Settled in Belgium and under contract until 2027, N’Diaye has no immediate plans to move. His agent recently urged Anderlecht not to rush any decisions regarding his future, signaling that the club is in no hurry to part ways.
This pursuit marks a potential redemption for Nottingham Forest, who previously failed to finalize a deal for Anderlecht’s Harry Toffolo in January 2023, causing tensions between the clubs. Now, Forest hope to secure N’Diaye as a long-term replacement.
