Trabzonspor, the Turkish Super Lig giants, have turned their attention to Super Eagles left-back Bruno Onyemaechi as they continue efforts to strengthen their squad ahead of the January transfer window.

The club, also linked with Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu, is actively seeking a left-back and has reportedly inquired about Onyemaechi’s transfer terms with his current club, Boavista.

The Portuguese side is said to have set a price tag of €2 million for the 25-year-old defender.

Onyemaechi, who has been a key figure for Boavista, remains under contract with the club until 2026.

This season, he has made 11 appearances in the Portuguese top flight, contributing one goal and showcasing his reliability in defense.

Trabzonspor, aiming to boost their competitiveness in domestic and European competitions, view Onyemaechi as a valuable addition to their backline.

Whether the deal materializes in January remains to be seen, but the Nigerian international’s performance and versatility have undoubtedly made him a sought-after target.
