Koulibaly backs Jackson as a future ballon d’or contender
Al Hilal defender Kalidou Koulibaly has expressed high hopes for his Senegalese compatriot and Chelsea forward, Nicolas Jackson, predicting that Jackson has the potential to become one of the world’s top players and even claim the coveted Ballon d’Or.
Koulibaly, speaking to talkSPORT, praised Jackson’s talent and commitment, envisioning a path for the young star that could one day put him alongside football icons like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and recent Ballon d’Or winner Rodri.
“Time will tell,” Koulibaly remarked, “but he’s shown incredible ability from the start.
He’s already scored seven goals, which is impressive for a player at his level.
I hope he keeps up his scoring streak.”
Koulibaly’s comments come as Jackson continues to make waves in his debut season with Chelsea, where his on-field efficiency and eye for goal have quickly marked him as one of the standout talents in the Premier League.
With consistent performances, Jackson is proving to be a crucial asset to Chelsea’s campaign, earning praise not only from teammates but also from fans and pundits across Europe.
Jackson’s rise is fueling speculation that he could soon be counted among the Premier League’s elite forwards.
As Koulibaly suggests, his progress could one day lead him to football’s highest honors.
