CAF confirms date for Algeria vs. Equatorial Guinea clash
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially set the date for the upcoming match between Algeria’s national team, known as “Les Verts,” and Equatorial Guinea.
This encounter will take place as part of the fifth round of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
According to a statement released by the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) on its official Facebook page, the match is scheduled for 14 November.
The game will be held at the Malabo Stadium, located in the capital of Equatorial Guinea, with a kickoff time of 2:00 PM local time (14:00).
Algeria heads into this match with confidence, having already secured qualification for the 2025 AFCON.
The team clinched its spot in the tournament by winning four consecutive matches in Group E of the qualifiers, demonstrating strong form throughout the campaign.
With their qualification assured, the Algerian team will look to maintain their winning streak and solidify their position at the top of the group.
The clash in Malabo presents an opportunity for both sides to showcase their abilities, as Equatorial Guinea aims to test themselves against one of the continent’s strongest teams.
Fans will be eagerly anticipating this fixture, with Algeria hoping to carry their momentum into the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, set to be a highly competitive tournament featuring some of the best teams across Africa.
