The October rankings brought encouraging news for Arab football. Morocco achieved a new high, moving up to 13th place globally, an improvement of one position from last month.
This rise reflects the team’s ongoing success and consistent performances on the international stage.
Egypt was ranked as the second-highest Arab team, coming in at 37th in the world with a total of 1,526.25 points.
The Egyptian team shares this position with Algeria, which made a significant leap of four spots in the rankings.
Jordan also marked a successful month, advancing four positions to reach 64th place globally.
This achievement was bolstered by their 4-0 victory in Amman during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates moved up by one position, claiming the 68th spot.
However, the rankings weren’t as favorable for Saudi Arabia, which dropped three places to 59th, and Qatar, which fell by two spots.
Tunisia experienced the largest drop among Arab teams, slipping 11 places to 47th worldwide, marking a challenging period for the team.
These movements in the FIFA rankings underscore a dynamic shift in the global football landscape, with teams across the Arab world showing resilience and growth, despite the challenges faced by some.
The spotlight remains on Argentina, which continues to dominate, as the football world gears up for more international competitions in the months ahead.
