Raja Casablanca official travels to France for coaching negotiations
Adel Bakili, the vice president of Raja Casablanca, has arrived in France to negotiate with a French coach as a potential replacement for the recently dismissed Bosnian manager Rusmir Zviko.
Zviko was let go due to disappointing results.
A well-informed source revealed that the Raja official is in discussions with a coach who has prior experience in African football.
Meanwhile, other members of the club are holding virtual negotiations with coaches of different nationalities.
The results of these negotiations will be presented to the club’s executive committee, which will make the final decision on selecting a coach capable of guiding the team towards success in the domestic league, the Throne Cup, and the CAF Champions League.
The source also mentioned that the club’s management is exploring several coaching options to avoid making the same mistake they made by hastily appointing Zviko.
Raja Casablanca wants to ensure that this time, they bring in someone who can lead the team effectively.
For now, Raja is under the temporary management of Abdelkrim Jnaini and technical director Hicham Aboucherwan, who are handling coaching duties until a permanent manager is appointed.
