Marseille presents contract offer to Youcef Atal until 2025
French journalist Santi Ouna, known for his insights on “Foot Mercato,” confirmed news initially reported by French channel “BFMTV” earlier today about a preliminary agreement between Marseille and the Algerian defender.
In a tweet from his official “X” platform account, the journalist elaborated that Marseille has presented a two-season contract offer to Youcef Atal, with the option for an additional season upon renewal.
Ouna highlighted that minor details will be discussed between the player and the French club’s management before finalizing the deal.
Moreover, the French journalist emphasized that Atal, who has been a free agent since his last commitment, has been undergoing training sessions under the supervision of former national team physical trainer Alexandre Delal.
He further indicated that other clubs are closely monitoring the situation of the graduate from a renowned academy, although their identities remain undisclosed.
Atal, known for his versatility and defensive prowess, has attracted attention from clubs across Europe due to his impressive performances and adaptability on the field.
